The Cuban Eight

by Robert Somers

The Cuban Eight recounts the adventures of aviator extraordinaire Len Povey and his friends. Spanning the twentieth century, his experiences encompass many facets of the aviation business—military, barn-storming, air shows, racing, training, aircraft sales, corporate flying and public relations, to name a few. The book includes accounts of the four years he spent as commander of the Cuban Air Force in the 1930’s and stories of famous and not so famous aviators and pilots he met throughout his career.
