Each begins and ends at the Hughes Main Library, and contains numerous stops for visitors and locals alike to learn the stories of the selected sites and the people connected to them. One or more photos accompany each entry, along with clear directions from one site to another. A fourth section includes highlights from the Carolina First South Carolina Room at the main library; a visit here is recommended either before or after the offsite tours for exploration of historical documents.
